Nora Logan, Social Work

Nora Logan, SWI

Nora (she/her) is currently a second-year MSW candidate at the Silberman School of Social Work. Nora is interested in developing her skills as an anti-oppressive psychotherapist rooted in trauma-informed practice. She aims to create a warm, collaborative and non-judgmental space to empower people to explore growth and healing.

Before entering social work education, Nora received an MA from the University of St Andrews in French Literature and Art History. She also holds a 200-hour teacher training in yoga and has trained extensively in meditation, breathwork, somatic movement and trauma-informed training — she brings what she has learned in these modalities to her social work practice.

She is also a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and the Academy of Holistic Nutrition and a postpartum doula. Nora has also worked in film and TV and knows how powerful it can be to tell one’s story and be witnessed in it; this understanding helps to inform her practice.

Nora is able to offer a low sliding scale fee for those who qualify.
